STOCK CAR AND BANGER RACING

Swaffham Raceway is a tarmac oval of approximately 370 yards, and is situated on the outskirts of Swaffham town in East Anglia, Norfolk.

Various racing classes compete at the oval raceway from Banger Racing, Hot Rod Racing, Junior Rods & various contact and non contact classes.

We welcome families to come and enjoy a great day out racing, some of our meetings operate over 2 days of racing at our speedweekends, however most of our race fixtures run on a Sunday afternoon, gates opening from 9am racing from 12 midday.

Please feel free to bring deck chairs to sit on our lovely grass viewing areas, we have undercover grandstand areas as well as a recently refurbished cafe with seating area, or why not visit our Raceway Shak for some great food and beverages.

Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times, and we ask that any mess is picked up please for the comfort of our visitors.

All visitors are able to not only watch the racing, we also allow you to view the cars in the pit areas before and during racing, so if you get to see the bangers crashing on track you can get a closer look at the wrecks in the pit areas, and you will be able to talk to drivers and find out more about the racing. All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times whilst in the stadium or pit areas.

(* id may be required at point of entry if your child looks older, it is down to the booth operative to decide entry cost should no id be available)

On 2 day championship events and firework nights prices may vary

DRIVER INFORMATION

Full season license all formulas must be purchased from February onwards cost £50.

Please note you must show your licence each time you enter the stadium and when signing on to race if you fail to show your licence then a day licence fee will be payable.

Full Licences can only be obtained purchasing online from February 1st 2024 and only becomes valid to use from March 1st 2024 until November 30th 2024 after this time the licence will expire.

Please note that full licences can only be obtained and purchased online and not at race day office, you must pay & obtain your licence online 1 week prior to registering to race, this is so that your licence can be made & signed for on your first day of racing, failure to register one week prior to your first meeting will mean a day licence will have to be purchased on the day you race each time until you register your main licence.

Day licence drivers cost £40.00 per event which will allow one mechanic free and again a £2 sign on fee will be payable additionally to this. No refunds will be given on either a full licence or day licence if you are banned from any race event or any length of ban and no refund will be given once you start any race on any race date. And we will not refund any payment should you start any race but then retire through race damage or engine or electric or fuel failure.

You can also race a second formula or multiple formulas but you must complete the relevant upgrade information that allows you to bolt on an additional formula in the full licence application process.
